  • Table legs were tapered with a custom table saw jig

  • Pew plywood designs were cut with a CNC machine
  • Frames were MIG welded together
  • A custom wheel compression system was designed and built for future use​

Pouffe

The Importance of Being Earnest

  • With the drawing from the designer, I sketched a quick drafting of the base

  • The pouffe base was made out of pine, plywood, and bendy plywood

  • The interior was left open to make as light as possible

Room Divider

Personal Project (2021)

  • Each panel is 6' tall and 25" wide.

  • The room divider was made out of poplar and pine plywood

  • Grooves were cut into the poplar and mortises into the rails

  • Plywood was covered with wallpaper

  • Constructed with mortise and loose tenon joints

  • The chair joints were extremely loose and wouldn't clamp together

  • It was discovered while taking it apart to have been keyhole connections

  • The bolts and connections were cleaned of dry glue and retightened

Bar Stools

Scenic Designer: Jason Ardizzone-West

Prop Master: Mark Walston

  • Originally the stools were to just have the upholstery removed and cleaned

  • The tops were replaced with new ones since they were designed for upholstery

  • The replacements were made out of poplar laminated together

  • Finishing screws used for added strength

Tiny Beautiful Things

  • Multiple pieces of plywood were laminated to desired thickness then cut to size

  • Assembled using pocket hole screws

  • Feet were cut on scroll saw

  • Holes and blemishes sanded and filled

Cutting Boards

deGuzman Crafts (2020)

  • This cutting board was commissioned from me through my Etsy shop

  • The cutting board was made out of curly maple and purpleheart

  • Each piece was ripped to width then glued together
  • Each side was trued up and routed
  • Finished with mineral oil

Magnetic Knife Rack

deGuzman Crafts (2020)

    • This magnetic knife was made for my Etsy shop

    • Keyholes to mount the rack were put in with a key hole bit and plunge router

    • On the front rare earth magnets were evenly spaced out into drilled recesses

    • Remaining space was filled with wood putty

    • Walnut veneer was ironed on

    • Decorative oak dowels were added between the magnets

    • Finished with mineral oil
