Hello! My name is Sophia deGuzman. I’m originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but I have been traveling across the country working as a props artisan/manager and a puppeteer.

I earned a BFA in Technical Production at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. I have interned at The Pacific Conservatory Theatre for their 2019 summer season and apprenticed at Actors Theatre of Louisville for their 2019-2020 season. I have previously been the Props Assistant at TheatreSquared.

Props and puppetry are wonderful in the wide variety of skills and people you get to meet. Never really knowing what each project is going to entail is thrilling.

 

I am currently the Properties Artisan/Painter at Milwaukee Repertory Theater.
